JinTao, Leo & Simo conclude their PhD publishing great papers

Our PhD students Jintao Liu, Leonardo Cognigni, and Simone Guazzi are leaving the lab after years of remarkable work in the group. After dedicating their time and energy to three different research areas, they have now graduated and their paths are taking new directions. Before moving on, they contributed to several excellent publications. Dr. Liu applied his expertise to the fabrication and characterization of new functionalized photoanodes that supported the development of advanced photoelectrocatalytic devices; Dr. Cognigni focused on the design and construction of novel covalent organic frameworks (COFs) with photocatalytic activity; and Dr. Guazzi investigated the direct conversion of ethanol to ethyl acetate through an innovative electrocatalytic approach. We wish all three of them the best for their future careers!
